Secure the future for the next generation of D/deaf and disabled artists – please remember Graeae in your will.
Why support Graeae?
Graeae Theatre is a unique, disabled led theatre company, which breaks down barriers and promotes the inclusion of D/eaf and disabled artists now and for the future.
Our vision is of a world where all D/deaf and disabled artists will have the opportunity to reach their potential and develop their careers to the full, regardless of their disabilities.
By remembering Graeae in your will, you can create new opportunities and help them take centre stage.
What difference can a gift in your will make?
Graeae depends on donations and grants to develop its work and performances. There are many more projects we would love to deliver if we had the resources – works that would give budding young artists new opportunities to showcase their skills and build their careers. Please will you help?
Will Making and Gifts in Wills
If you are planning to make or change your will, Graeae strongly suggests you use a solicitor or qualified will writer. If you do not have an adviser, ask a friend or relative for a recommendation, or visit the website of the Law Society at www.lawsociety.org.uk
If you already have a will and would like to add a gift to Graeae, you can use a codicil.
Several types of gift can be left in a will, including:
- A residuary gift, which is a share or percentage of what is left of your estate once your debts have been paid;
- A pecuniary gift, which is a set amount of money, usually linked to the retail price index;
- A specific gift, such as an item of jewellery or a painting.
Graeae recognises that you will wish to provide for your loved ones first, but after that and if there is scope to do so, please remember the work of this important charity.
