We believe creativity is a human right. For over 40 years, Graeae has been cultivating and championing the careers of Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists, both across the UK and internationally.

Our work is only made possible by our community, our allies and our ambassadors. Collectively, we’ll kickstart change for the next generation of leaders.

This is how we spend your money:

• Young Companies – We hold regular drama sessions with two groups, one age 6-13, the other 14+. Our sessions support participation in creative activities, reduce isolation and improve independence and self esteem. They’re also really fun.
• Beyond – A national network of independent disabled artists who have faced barriers to getting their work made. We match them up with regional theatres who can offer rehearsal space, producing, marketing and showcasing opportunities.
• Productions –  your funding helps us make creatively accessible theatre now and in the future.
