We’re delighted to be launching our first ever Scratch Night!
Crips with Chips is a scratch night that puts Deaf and disabled writers centre stage. Join us every other month at our award-winning and highly accessible Bradbury Studios in East London where we’ll be serving fringe theatre realness with added fries. No steps, all captioned. Come for the writing, stay for the live music/DJ. BYOB. Oh, and if you’re a Deaf or disabled playwright, come and introduce yourself. Can’t wait to feat. you.
‘I’m really excited we’re launching Crips with Chips. As a theatre maker, rehearsed readings are difficult to access physically and we have limited experience of them. To begin with, we’ll be focussing on our Write to Play alumni providing a platform for their work. I’m excited to see what happens and to eat chips of course!’ Nickie Miles-Wildin, Associate Director
Join us for a big night out with new writing at its heart. There will be chips, drinks, live music/DJ and all four pieces will be captioned.
When: Monday 17th February 2020
Where: Graeae’s Bradbury Studios
Time: 7pm with live music from 9pm onwards
