The Graeae Associate is a new and exciting role helping to connect artists with each other, the Mercury and Graeae. You will play a key role in the creation and smooth running of artist focussed programmes in the East of England.

If you are a Deaf, Disabled or neurodivergent person with experience in either directing, writing, delivering workshops or working with children and young people we want to hear from you.

As Graeae Associate, you will have specific responsibilities for supporting and delivering artist development programmes such as Write to Play, Crips With Chips and sparking collaboration opportunities across the region. There is room to make the role your own and we want you to be feeding into to future projects at Graeae and the Mercury and help shape future support for disabled people in the arts.

This is role is part time with annualised hours of 1,100 per year. The main base will be at the Mercury in Colchester with frequent travel to Graeae’s base in London. The role is co-funded role by the Mercury Theatre and Graeae.
