A festive production by Graeae’s Youth Programme
A motley crew of audience members arrive at the theatre. However, something is amiss and, although they think they are in for a treat, hilarity ensures as they realise they have one thing in common… someone has ushered them through the wrong door!
Inspired by Graeae’s unique wheelchair dancing troupe, the Rhinestone Rollers, a group of young artists are rolling out their own show this year. Featuring some favourite festive tunes, dance numbers and plenty of laughs; get into the Christmas spirit with this Yuletide treat.
Graeae’s youth programme is an exciting new strand of Graeae’s work in developing the next generation of young artists. Last year, Graeae brought together six young wheelchair users aged 5-12 to participate in a performance at the Southbank Centre alongside the Rhinestone Rollers. This year, Graeae has invited young people back to devise their own show, supported by professional artists.
