Three chances to catch Thrive Aid-The Art of Protest, a premiere international collaboration of disabled artists from around the world; coming together to protest the stigma disabled people world-wide face every day!!
Thrive Aid-The Art of Protest is a world-wide virtual event that will debut on December 3, 2020, The International Day of Disabled People, to celebrate the lives and contributions of disabled people through disability art and culture. Thrive Aid is being shown independently in different time zones globally starting in Australia. This is an international collaboration between the United States of America, United Kingdom, and Australia. This is the first event of what we hope to be a continuing format in the future. The overall message would be that we are creative, resilient, and we will thrive and survive with equal access to support.
Thrive Aid has several goals:
1. Celebrate disabled people and their achievements
2. Support disabled people world-wide with messages of strength, solidarity and non-violent protest.
3. Showcase Disability Arts by disabled artists and artistic organizations.
4. Create a heritage archive of Disability Arts
