The Iron Man returns to crunch and clank his way to some of the UK’s top outdoor festivals this summer. A talented cast of D/deaf and disabled actors and musicians come together under the direction of Amit Sharma to re-create one of the greatest modern-day fables in an adaptation that spans generations and leaves audiences enthralled.
The unexpected arrival of the towering Iron Man casts a shadow of fear across a small farm community. However, when an enormous dragon from outer space threatens to annihilate the planet, the Iron Man comes to the rescue. Ted Hughes’ classic modern fable is brought to life through a colossal iron puppet, live and recorded soundscapes and a compelling mix of words, sign language and audio description.
