Gravity-defying outdoor theatre. A troupe of nomadic story-keepers (the Keeper of Dreams, Keeper of History, Keeper of Song and Keeper of Names), share their stories of grace, growing up and imagination. For a brief moment in time, the Keepers open their garden-ritual – a ceremony of renewal, transformation, and harmony. Beautifully composed music fills the sky as artists take to four-metre high sway poles to create new stories in the air. All performances include audio description and sign language.
The re-mounted production involved many elements coming together; the re-creation of the set by a Brazilian production team, a partnership with Australian circus company Strange Fruit who provided the iconic sway poles and the integration of 4 different languages into the existing script (English, British Sign Language, Brazilian and Libras).
