Diary of an Action Man

by Mike Kenny
A co-production with Unicorn Theatre for Children

Ezra’s toy action man (who is his imaginary dad) springs to life when no one is looking. In the safety of his bedroom and away from the clutches of his mum, his teachers and his irritating younger sister, Ezra and his secret dad jump from helicopters and swim with man-eating sharks.  Then they embark on a big adventure to find Ezra’s real-life dad.

The play is written around an audio descriptive narrative and signed all the way to allow D/deaf, blind, visually impaired, disabled and non-disabled 7 – 11 year olds to share this wonderful theatrical experience.  A gripping story about heroes, journeys, irritating sisters and why parents’ divorce.

Time Out’s Best Children’s Show accolade 2003.
