Graeae’s artistic vision exploits the ambition the company has for its staff, artists and creative partners. The vision comprises four key elements:

• Performing a diverse selection of plays by disabled and non-disabled writers, many of which are written for the company. This enables us to explore the full spectrum of theatre and the language of performance.
• Investigating the successes and failures of various education models and acting as a catalyst to inspire a new generation of theatre makers.
• Offering comprehensive performance / writing / technical training opportunities to d/Deaf and disabled people. We aim to create a legacy of a body of talent to be employed across the creative industry.
• Exploring the aesthetics of access to allow all audiences and professionals to experience theatre with equal enjoyment.
